Bates manufactures the best fitting, highest quality uniform
oxford in the United States. Their quality standards are so high
that their quality control people yank these seconds before they
leave the factory. These shoes are then divided into two
groups: Blemished or Flawed. Blemished shoes contain minor
imperfections that are usually cosmetic in nature that do not
effect their performance. Flawed units have greater problems and
take a different path from the factory.

locate the blemish most of time. We can't either. You can now

Sorry, but because these shoes are considered close outs from
Bates so no warranty is included with the product.
No Special
Orders
If your size is not in-stock it can not be back-ordered or
special ordered. Our in-stock level fluctuates week to week based
on size availability from Bates. We try our best to inventory
sizes 8-13 in "D" & "E" widths. We
sometimes purchase size 12˝, 13˝ or size 14.
Online Ordering
Select the size you need. If we have the selected size in-stock
it will be shipped. If your selected size is not in-stock
our sales staff will email you with other size possibilities for
immediate shipment. Your online order will not be acted on until
we receive confirmation of the new size or cancellation of the
